Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about booking Maple Keys Entertainment Co. for your event. Don’t see your question here? Send us a note — we respond within one business day.
We recommend booking as early as possible — ideally 3 to 6 months in advance for corporate events and galas, and 6 to 12 months for weddings and large-scale productions. Popular dates (holiday season, spring wedding season) fill quickly. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows. Reach out today and we’ll confirm availability right away.
Every Maple Keys show is a fully turnkey production. Depending on the package, this includes professional-grade sound and PA system, stage lighting, two grand pianos (white and black), microphones, a professional MC, and our experienced performance team. We handle load-in, setup, soundcheck, the full show, and teardown. You focus on your guests — we handle everything on stage.
Yes — we perform across Canada and have traveled internationally for select events. Travel and accommodation costs are factored into the booking proposal on a per-event basis. If you have a destination event in mind, tell us where and when and we’ll make it work.
Song requests are a core part of what makes our shows unforgettable. For Dueling Pianos and Piano Bar shows, guests can submit requests throughout the evening — either on paper slips provided at tables or via a digital request system we set up for your event. Our performers know thousands of songs across every genre and decade, and they’re skilled at weaving requests into a seamless, crowd-driven performance. For Cocktail Piano, the set list is curated in advance to match the tone of your event, with room for special requests discussed during pre-show planning.
Once we’ve confirmed availability and agreed on the details, we issue a formal booking agreement and invoice. A deposit is required to hold your date, with the balance due prior to the event. For specific deposit amounts, payment schedules, and accepted payment methods, please contact us directly — we’re happy to walk you through the process.
Yes, with the right setup. Outdoor performances require a covered, weather-protected stage area and appropriate power access. We’ve performed at outdoor festivals, fairs, and private estate events. When you inquire, let us know it’s an outdoor venue and we’ll confirm the technical requirements and any additional logistics involved.
Show length is fully customizable to your event schedule. A standard Dueling Pianos or Piano Bar show typically runs two to three hours, often broken into two sets with a short intermission. Cocktail Piano sets are usually one to two hours. We can also accommodate shorter or longer performances — just let us know your timeline when you inquire and we’ll build the show around it.
Absolutely. We regularly work with corporate clients to integrate branded elements into the show — from custom song dedications and audience shout-outs to branded stage backdrops, sponsor acknowledgments, and themed set lists. If you have a specific brand moment or sponsor integration in mind, bring it to us during the planning stage and we’ll make it happen seamlessly.
We understand that events sometimes change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is outlined in the booking agreement at the time of contract. In general, we work with clients as flexibly as possible, especially for rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change — the sooner we know, the more options we have available.
Yes. Maple Keys Entertainment Co. carries full commercial general liability insurance. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request for venue requirements or corporate event compliance. Just let us know during the booking process and we’ll have it ready.
